So here's some performances from some year end special... thing. Honestly I have no idea what these are from, just that it was a special end of the year thing. And I'm only sharing because 1) haven't posted anything in a while 2) I feel like taking a look back through the kpop of 2010 for nostalgia's sake and 3) These Asians are looking so good. Also, who knows how long these videos will last so watch while you can.
- Changmin (2am), Junsu (2pm), Yoseob, and Jongyun came together to sing 'It's My Life' and 'Bohemian Rhapsody' (which I feel they're totally not allowed to sing.) It's just so ridiculous basically.
- Oh Super Junior 'Bonamana'. Some times I forget just how much I love suju. (Also, Donghae was in my dream last night and this just reminded me. 2nd favorite dream ever.)
- Yoseob has one of my favorite wails of 2010 in 'Soom'.
- I really just can't help myself on this one. 'Madonna' was after all a guilty pleasure for a while there. ('Magic' would be a guilty pleasure too if they could actually pronounce it right.)
- Aw, I forgot I fell in love with Supreme Team (really just Simon D).
- CN Blue had such a good debut year.
- 2pm's year started off horrible, but I'm impressed how well they bounced back. Good job boys.
- I miss Amber. Also forgot how much I liked this song (and them.)
- Will never get tired of watching SHINee. Love these boys.
- I don't think U-Kiss gets near the recognition they deserve... then again they're probably the most ridiculous boyband.
- 'Love Love Love' FT Island (most of the time).
- Miss A has got to be the best rookie group of the year. They killed their debut song. Killed it.
- Each member of 2am chose like a little snippet of a song to sing, love the songs the last two sang.
A little somethin somethin extra: DBSK/TVXQ is making a comeback, and by DBSK I mean just Changmin and U-Know who are still with SME. I really don't want to be on board with just the two of them still using the DBSK/TVXQ name, but these teasers got me a little excited. (Also I'd be lying if I said I didn't miss Changmin's wail screech.)

BEAST Duets!
So the boys of BEAST split up into three groups to sing some songs on some music show earlier. Apparently it's something they did for their concert (which I unfortunately don't live in Korea so couldn't go to), and it was so popular that they released the songs earlier than originally planned. So with that said...
First up we have a performance by Dongwoon and Dujoon. Really loving this song. Guess what it's about? Did you guess a girl leaving that their still in love with? Cause that would be correct.

Look At F.CUZ Go
So I've really kind of fallin in love with the boys of F.CUZ because of this latest comeback. I thought their comeback was going to be done after the first video, and apparently I was wrong. Then I thought their comeback was going to be done after the second video, and now apparently I'm wrong again. They just released a third video, this time for their song 'It's Ok'. The videos suppose to be a present for the fans. I'm not gonna lie, even though I feel this is the cheapest thing to do for a music video, kind of love videos like this.

TOP & GD Are Totally 'High High'
GD & TOP's first performance was today and seriously they looked like they were having so much fun and it was oddly cute. They performed 'High High' (which I'm currently loving and I blame it on the fact they spell out ghetto) and 'Oh Yea' with special guest Park Bom.
Warning: ignore the stupid purple border. Who ever put it there clearly wasn't thinking.
1) Please pay attention to the way TOP walks. It's weird sometimes. Really the way he moves in general.
2) So GD's actually really cute when he's really happy, like in the 'High High' performance.
3) 3:24 Still creepy, even TOP winks.
4) 5:10 The way Bom forces TOP to look at her, she's a badass.

TOUCH needs a touch of work
So TOUCH, who debuted back in October and I thought they had some potential, had a comeback stage today for their new song 'Killin Me'... Honestly their vocals were weird and not overly pleasant to listen to, but the choreography's not bad. They're really just scrambling around. You know when you watch other groups and they kind of just leisurely walk back into position? Well TOUCH runs, and its kind of ridiculous when you watch it on mute. Really like the effect at 1:50 though.
Bonus! Yoseob and Drama performed 'First Snow, First Kiss' today, and even though they just stood there and sang I loved every second of it. And Yoseob even makes just standing adorable.

Surprise Blast From The Past Kommentary!
A while ago I got a request to do kommentary for SHINee's 'Ring Ding Dong,' so just for you Gracie. Happy Birthday!
It's been over a year, but finally here it is: KOMMENTARY!
1) Can I just say real quick, I miss their 'Ring Ding Dong' days.
2) 0:08 One by one: Watch it Minho, you're flaming charisma's showing. Taemin just needs to go into hiding until he turns 18. Whatever Onew. Oh Key, can he be any more of a dive? You know, I've never thought this before but Jonghyun looks kind of like a younger version of TOP here... Mmmm TOP.
3) 0:14 Between the red candle, butterfly trapped in a jar, and creepy mirror angel version of Minho.... SHINee's totally a part of the illuminati.
4) 0:18 Listen, a year later and this dance still puzzles me.

Asian Special Stages!
On Music Bank today (last night? this morning?) it was the year end special, so there were a couple of special stages, but really only two that I cared about, and want to share.
1) Key, Kwanghee (ZE:A), and KiKwang (BEAST) did a parody of Orange Caramel's 'Magic Girl.' Apparently this is the go to song to parody, and I'm fine with it cause it's always adorable.
and 2) SG Wannabe (whoever they are), Wookie and Khuyhun, and Jonghyun and Onew sang 'My Everything.' I love this song and they did a pretty good job, but I mainly want to share for how creepy 0:27 homeboy is.

So after being horribly disappointed that I could not watch the live GD & TOP event I was ready to go back to sleep, when allkpop via twitter informed me that JJJK released an mv for 'Hot Times.' Guess who jumped at that.
The video has the same feel as the video for 'Sorry Sorry Answers (as if the song itself didn't already remind me of the baby makin version of 'Sorry Sorry'). Also, try not to get too distracted by Jonghyun.
- 0:15 Please notice how Jonghyun, unlike the others, throws his whole body into his wails. This happens through out the entire video. Also be on the look out for over dramatic head movements and his hands that are always one step away from throwing up gang signs.

I'm Going To Need Everybody To Get Excited
GD & TOP's world premier is happening on Big Bang's official youtube channel tomorrow (14th) at 5pm Korean time. It's suppose to be live, and they're suppose to perform some songs, and talk about behind the scenes stuff (which I'm assuming is going to be in Korean so really could care less about it), and they're also releasing a music video (so there will be a new kommentary within the next 24 hours, hopefully), and I'm so excited. Also, theres a "teaser" for this world premier that really looks like it was thrown together in 5 mins and really has no point, but I'm posting it anyways.

Kommentary: F.CUZ 'Wanna Be Your Love'
It feels like just yesterday (actually like a month ago) that F.CUZ released their redeeming mv for 'Midnight Sun,' and now they're at it again. Apparently they're trying really hard not to be considered a failure group, so they just released another music video for 'Wanna Be Your Love.' I'm a little more torn on this one than I was for 'Midnight Sun.' While the boys of F.CUZ themselves are absolutely adorable (at least two of them are) and the song has cuteness potential, somethings still off.
1) 0:09 Aw, this is a really cute moment between the wannabe toy soldier and who evers behind him.
2) ... Can't decide if these outfits are good ridiculous or bad ridiculous. Leaning towards the latter.
3) 0:21 & 0:45 Why I love cute concepts. Seriously, 0:45 cutie was made for this concept. He's like F.CUZ's Yoseob.
4) 1:23 Anyone else feel rapper homeboy (who lip syncs every ones parts the whole entire video) is not made for a cute concept?
5) 1:30 Are they trying to spell out love? Cause there's major failage happening.
6) 1:34 Also not sure how well the cuteness is working for this one either.

I Can Get A 'Love☆Letter' From ZE:A?
Sooooo I guess ZE:A is following on the heels of every other kpop group and entered the Japanese music market. They put out a song called 'Love☆Letter', and the videos actually pretty cute. Also the song's not bad (usually don't like kpop group's japanese songs). Honestly though, I compare all their songs to their debut 'Mazeltov,' so really odds are I won't think anything else they put out in the future will be too bad. Hopefully.
(Real quick, the one at 0:13 I've decided is Notreallyasian the 2nd. He has to at least be a halfling.)

Fall In Love With The Children Of JYP This Christmas
1) JYP Nation? Really? I'm glad JYPE is copying SM Town now, but they couldn't think of a cuter name? YG did it too, only they call themselves YG Family. Cuter than JYP Nation at least.
2) Love Christmas music, but I'm a little torn here. I love Christmas music and anything involving Asianloves, yet I'm having trouble loving this. It's a little... annoying. But I'm still sharing it cause I'm a sucker for group gatherings for Christmas music.

Procrastinating Never Looked So Good
Of course my favorite form of procrastination in distracting myself with Asians, and the best way to do that is through youtube. So now I'm going to share my favorite videos from the past couple hours of procrastinating:
1) Jonghyun's choreography mistake. Really, it's all about the way he looks at his arm and the expression when he realizes that wasn't right.
2) Fact: Onew's one of the most ridiculous kpoppers.
3) The way they find Onew so hilarious is probably one of the cutest things ever.
4) Minho dancing to 'Lucifer' while being piggybacked? Adorable. Also, no surprise, but SHINee's looking really good.

Crazy 'Runaway' Ballerinas
Warning: This is a Kanye West video, so if you want to ignore this post, completely understandable.
Now then, I love Kanye's new song 'Runaway'. Actually his whole My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy album really isn't that bad (besides all the songs being entirely too long). I haven't felt this way about Kanye since 8th grade. Apparently that year of soul searching paid off. A couple things about this video though, 1) This is just the excerpt from his 35 min. video film thing also titled 'Runaway', which I'm not sharing cause it's... really I don't even have words for it, but if you care to go to youtube and watch it your self be my guest. (Bonus, if you watch this video, you've already watched a third of the full length video!) 2) This blondie in the front is an absolute crazy, like I don't even know what she's doing half the time. 3) I feel so bad for the ballerinas at 6:10 with their arms up. Poor things can't handle it.

Alright, so Heechul featured in Korean rapper Defconn's new song... Listen, if I've ever not been able to take something serious it's this, and I'm kind of loving it. JJJK Totally Thinks They're Kanye
So now theres a music video for 'Miss You'... Idk, but heres the video:
1) I like that the guys listening to 'Hot Times' and answers the phone without saying a word.
2) This whole falling in love with a creature that fell from the sky is giving me Kanye West flashbacks. Idk if any ones watched his little 30 min runaway music video thing (probably not), but thats basically the idea of it.
3) Every time I listen to this it feels like they're having a wail off. Every time.

Drama (from my guilty love Dalmatian) and my little cutie Yoseob made a seasonal song together called 'First Snow, First Kiss'. Listen, they're one of my favorite idol bffl's, just look how cute they are together! I got so excited when I read a couple days ago that they were releasing a Christmas song. More Asian Award Shows Please!
Love allkpop. They live streamed a music award show this morning (Mnet's Asian Music Awards), and it was totally worth the 3 1/2 hours I wasted watching it. Even though it was probably the biggest joke of an award show I've ever watched (I swear 2pm, 2NE1, and Miss A were the only ones that won anything), there were some really good performances. But I'm only going to share two of them.
First one, 2pm. Loved every second of this creepy emo medley, and of course I can always watch a performance of 'I'll Be Back' (except the ending, it was a little iffy):
Second performance, Taeyang's stage with surprise guests. Guess who those guests were? G-Dragon and T.O.P.! And apparently Big Bang's special, cause they got a ridiculously long stage. But it's my Baby Dinosaur (with his ridiculous hair) & Friends, so it's fine.:
1) Idk what this hold 'em up thing they're doing is about but they looked like little kids playing some kind of cops and robbers game. It's fine though, cause they can do what ever they want.
2) I decided Taeyang and Dara are adorable together.
3) WHATS HAPPENING ON DECEMBER 15?! Honestly, I want it to be a full out Big Bang comeback but based on the fact it just says GD and TOP I'm going to say just those two are releasing a song sooooooooooo get excited for that!
[Update] OMG! No, December 15th is not a Big Bang comeback (for apparently that's scheduled to happen February 1st), however the 15th is a comeback. It's the date GD and TOP release two songs from their album thats set to release on December 24th! Apparently they did one together! And it gets released the 15th/24th! In case you didn't get all that! And Guess who just got ludicrously excited and has a count down started! 17 days! (Give or take. You know that half a day time difference with Korea makes it a little iffy for countdowns.)

Obsessing with SHINee
So SHINee's song 'Obsession' (from their Lucifer cd, and one of my favorites from said cd) got picked up as a song for the movie coming out The Warriors Way, and they made a little music video for it with like behind the scenes clips from the movie. Honestly, I could care less about the movie but the SHINee boys introduce the video in the beginning, and can I just say they are looking so good. I swear every time I see them I say this, but so good. Make no mistake, I'm strictly sharing this video for the fact that they look so good.

[Updated] Holy Hot Ballad Group Batman
Now that I've gotten their new name established, here's the deal: the album doesn't come out until the 25th, so SM is releasing one teaser everyday until then. So basically I'm updating this everyday with a new teaser until the actual album gets released then I'll add the full songs.
I'm a little confused with the rapping, but so far the songs sound like they want to be baby making songs but somewhere missed their mark. So basically JJJK already has me hooked. Also, I'm such a sucker for good wailing.
So Kyuhyun and Jay's solo songs were stuck in one long teaser. They're getting away from the baby making wannabe music, and it actually sounds like these songs belong to a ballad group:

Kommentary: F.CUZ 'Midnight Sun'
Idk if you guys remember F.CUZ, they debuted at the beginning of the year with 'Jiggy.' Now if you don't remember 'Jiggy,' lucky you. It's right up there with ZE:A's 'Mazeltov,' and if you don't remember that one mazel tov to you.
Anyways, the boys of F.CUZ released a teaser for the mv a couple days ago. Not gonna lie, it got my attention. And yes, before you even ask, that is indeed me in the teaser.
Now on to the actual video:
Before I say anything else, thank god these boys stepped up their game. They would've completely lost me if they came back with 'Jiggy, the sequel.'
Now, on to kommentary:
1) I'm totally getting a SS501 vibe from this.
2) 0:08 If that was one of those dramatic runny mascara tears, you wouldn't even know this was a boy. (whom I've claimed by the way.)
3) 0:24 This scene was shot inside a genie's lamp. In case you were curious.
4) 0:25 I want every single one of those fabulous rings this boys wearing.
5) 1:39 Man, they picked some classy settings for this video.
6) 2:01/2 I think I want to claim the one singing here... Yea, I'm just gonna go ahead and claim him.

All in all, this song is highly more acceptable than 'Jiggy.'

So Ryan Higa (along with Wong Fu Productions) made a little 40 min movie. It's called Agents of Secret Stuff and the official trailer was released today. According to the little description box thingy the video will be premiering online on Ryan's youtube channel the 24th (or if embedding is enabled it will probably be blogged about so you can just watch it here).... Listen, I'm so excited to watch 40 mins. straight of Ryan Higa. With every video my love for him grows, and after watching this movie thing I'll probably book a ticket to Vegas/Cali/Hawaii and hunt him down. (what I will do once I have him in my possession has yet to be decided.)

Kommentary: BEAST 'Beautiful'!!!
BEAST is the definition of love. And the fact there's a storyline made waiting for this video worth it.
1) So I feel a little sorry for Hyunseung at the beginning of this video, cause after his little dance thing he has no further parts in the storyline.
2) 0:59... Sluts.

Curse You JYJ
Because 1) not only are they distracting me from writing a 10 page paper, but 2) they totally got me. Despite the fact they're my three favorite from DBSK, I really didn't want to give into this whole trio thing they've got going. And yet... 'Ayyy Girl' wasn't enough to recapture my love, but listened to the whole 'The Beginning' album and I'm caught. Honestly, I like all the songs a lot more than majority of DBSK songs. It could be because it's all in English, or it could be because half the songs give me 90's flashbacks. (All my money's on the latter.) Sigh. Idk why I try to fight anything involving Asianloves. I know my will powers not strong enough.
And here's the songs I care about from 'The Beginning,' sooooooo basically here's the whole album:
And breakdown of why I love each song:
1) Every time I listen to 'Ayyy Girl' I get so confused how, out of all people, they hooked up with Kanye. I'm also confused how this song, out of the whole album, became their single. And yet, despite Kanye and the ridiculousness that is this song, it's grown on me. It was bound to happen. (Still think a Korean version of this song would be so much better.)
2) Love 'Empty'. That is all.
3) 'Be My Girl' sounds like a 90's boyband's song, maybe. But I can't think which one... WAIT! Maybe it was an Usher song...? Now that I'm thinking Usher, it feels right.
4) 'Still In Love' is JJ's solo song, which many youtubers are speculating it was written for Uknow. My favorite comment regarding this scandal: "Remember we don't KNOW if they didn't go out. Most of the KPop stars are probably bi at least, it's hard to stay straight when your working with hot guys every single day of your life. There's much more facts pointing towards YunJae then there is against it, for sure." Fact.
5) Listening to 'I Can Soar' literally makes me feel like I'm listening to a Disney soundtrack.
6) Fact: I love that when I listen to 'I Love You' it feels like I'm listening to 90's rap.
7) Love 'Be The One'. It reminds me of a 98 degrees song.
