Kommentary: 2PM 'Hands Up'!

I'm a little ashamed of myself on this one. 2pm's new album came out this week, and  I didn't even know there was a new one until a day after it came out. Man I'm slipping. However this video just came out last night and there's already kommentary for it, HA!...

I'm assuming SM was wanting a hot summer track, well goal accomplished. I actually do feel hot when I watch this video. Like all I want to do is run around in sprinklers hot. Good job f(x).

Kommentary: SHINee 'Replay (Japanese Version)'!!

SHINee WHY DO YOU DO THIS TO ME! Literally hardcore fangirling. Usually I’m not a fan of the Japanese versions of korean songs and don’t make it through the whole Japanese version video, but in this case after 30 seconds I didn’t even notice. Here’s a kitty icon version of me to better express my feelings:

Apparently I give off a Super Saiyan glow when I’m fangirling. And before you ask, yes my eyes do actually turn into hearts when SHINee’s in my vision.

Honestly, I hate with a passion Key’s general ensemble here. It’s those rolled up shorts with stockings that’s killing me. Also, I wonder if their stylist has to fight with them to get them in those jeggings. And do NOT try to tell me those aren’t jeggings some of them are wearing, cause those pants have better clingage than Saran wrap.

3) 0:16 Alright 1: I love this shot of Key and 2: you see this pink earring Key’s wearing? It’s a unicorn and I want it cause it’s probably the best earring I’ve ever seen in my life and my love for Key skyrocketed just because he’s wearing it.

I mean, I guess he could be a singer since he’s singing and dancing while working, but still he’s cleaning up a café! (on a window washing side note, kid at Starbucks the other day was wiping down the store windows with newspaper… is that legit? At least Starbucks boy did a better job cleaning those windows than Jonghyun.)

Quick little comparison I did (and really the only thing I cared about), baby Taemin got so many more parts this time! He got J’s at the beginning, and one of Onews, and he even got a little wail thrown in there (1:35ish)! So proud of him. They just grow up so fast! *sniffle for extra dramatics*

Kommentary: f(x) 'Pinocchio (Danger)'!!!

It's about time f(x) cameback!! Like all f(x) songs, this new ones pretty dang catchy. The video kind of makes me think of 2ne1, only not as exciting... But they all look so cute! Blond Amber is amazing, Sulli's as adorable as ever, Victoria looks especially pretty (I think it's because shes dating Nickhun), Luna honestly looks like a little ball of sunshine, and Krystal... eh, Krystal's Krystal.




1) This 'remember me' at the beginning creeps me out everytime I hear it. I've actually jumped a couple times when it's come up on my ipod and I'm not expecting it. One of the most un-okay things ever in a song.
2) 0:13 So confused, what is on this girls head.
3) 0:28 I would like for you to drop whatever you're doing right now and try this 'Danger' move. It feels so unnatural, and if you do it multiple times it kind of hurts... Or maybe its just me.
4) 0:36 While this Mickey Mouse/Pinocchio thing is kind of weird, this scenes cute.
5) 0:38-44 I can't decide if Luna's messing up her choreography or if hers moves are a bit different because shes the one singing...
6) 1:00 Uh, who's being a creeper there behind Luna?... RUN LUNA RUN!
7) 0:58 Not gonna lie, this is probably the cutest move ever. I feel like they're little children (and they're dancing in a circle!)

Listen, Korea needs to calm down with all these debuts. I can't keep up. Heres a few that I'll be keeping an eye on though.

1) Block B. I'm not quite sure how much I like this group, but theres two (or three) members that really caught my attention. Honestly though, I feel like all the members of this group are love childs and theres nothing really new.



- 0:04 This is the first member that really caught my attention. I'm kind of already in love with him, and idk if it's because he goes by Zico, or because he was supposedly an original member of SHINee, or because he's G-Dragon and Beast's Junhyung's love child.
- 0:14 This would be another member that stuck out for me, but probably only because he's TOP and Hongki's love child. (Or TOP and MBLAQ's Lee Joon or Seungho's love child. TOP and 2pm's Junsu's love child? Someone even suggested TOP and Wookie's love child, but that one I don't see. Either or, he's def TOP's child, meaning I have to find out who my baby dinosaurs having an affair on me with.) Oh and his hairs red, meaning he sticks out regardless. Another thing, he goes by B.Bomb... these boys get my love for ridiculous names.
- 0:21 Kyu and Zoumi's love child? Uh, yes.
- 1:25 Idk if he should be saying 'Focus' cause thats not what it sounds like at first... Just sayin.
- 2:23 OMG TOP WHAT CHU DOIN IN BLOCK B!? Okay in all seriousness though, this was the second member that really caught my attention. I've already dubbed him my back up TOP. Not only does he sound ridiculously similar to TOP, but his name is P.O... Real subtle there. He probably went by POT at first, but that could've been taken one of two ways. Either as very suggestive (we know what he does in his spare time ;) or as the worst rapper name in history ("Oh whose your bias in Block B?" "Everyones favorite kitchen utensil, POT!"; "That POT's boilin!"; "Be careful, that POT's hot!"; "I wouldn't mind cooking with that POT!"; "I'd like to soak that POT."; "I can scrub your POT?".... Whelp, his names officially changed to POT).



2) Brave Girls. I really didn't want anything to do with this group at first, but their song won me over. Actually their debut performance won me over, then the song.



- 1:07 Actually, this dance is really what got me. Alright, the way the girl in front whips her hair is really what won me over. Girl gives Willow a run for her money.
- I was so into the song and video. I actually thought maybe I could get behind Brave Girls, and then 3:48 happens... Ugh.


3) Rania. By far my fav debut. This wanton slut concept they're working is so refreshing for kpop.

Get It Britbrit!

Alright, wasn't a fan of 'Till The World Ends' at first, but now after watching the video I love it. The 'HIAM' video was horrible, but this, this is the Britbrit I want to see.

Kommentary: U-Kiss '0330'!

1) Don't usually add pictures for kommentary, but its so absolutely adorable that I had to.

2) I really kind of like '0330', it's a nice change for u-kiss. Don't get me wrong, I liked their other songs too (that last m/v, dayum), but I'm glad they went for a softer image this time.
3) Sooo, confession (and if any hardcore kissme happens to stumble upon this, don't kill me): I'm not missing Kibum and Xander, like at all. And I'm already loving the two new members. AJ can replace those two any day. Feels good to get that off my chest.




1) This opening is so pretty and I'm jealous. Why can't I play the piano in the middle of an enchanted forest with baby Dongho?

Kommentary: Super Junior-M 'Perfection'

These boys are 'Perfection,' at least look wise. As far as the song goes, I like it but I'm not in love. It's no 'Supergirl.' And there are parts that are so autotuned that honestly anyone could be singing and you would never know the difference. But it's def got a SuJu feel to it. And seriously, these boys just get finer by the day.

Infinite's totally got my love this year... Despite the fact I can't tell the difference between Infinite and Teen Top. You can't convince me they're not the same group... Anyways, they're both totally adorable.

Kommentary: ZE:A 'Here I Am'

So ZE:A released a full length album (and by full length I mean a a couple new songs and the rest all the songs from their previous mini albums) and its called 'Lovability.' Listen, with a name like that I completely expected their single from the album to be amazing. Well fail. I want to love 'Here I Am,' but... ZE:A, why do you make it so hard to love you?

Just Can't Hold It Against You BritBrit

After 14 days of 14 absolutely pointless teasers, Britney finally released the music video for 'Hold It Against Me.' Of course I love this song, I mean how can I not with a, what, like 12 years strong loyalty to britbrit. The more ridiculous she gets, the better (even though in my opinion it would be hard for her to top '3' and 'If You Seek Amy' and 'HIAM' is just out of reach of those levels of ridiculousness. Try harder next time Britbrit). And I really want to love the video too. In it she's got hot backup dancers, plentyoffish.com cameo, classic 90's Britney videos, and Britbrit stunt doubles beating each other up. With a list like that you can't go wrong, right?.... Right?





I wish I had a pop star career that was at the point that I could do no wrong, even when I did wrong.

Pumped With Happiness!

Guess who finally released some new music videos!? If you guessed Dalmatian you would be correct! If you did not guess Dalmatian, then clearly you have not been keeping up with my blog. Their mini album was released yesterday, and I already love the whole thing. It's fun, and spunky, and upbeat, and everything I hoped their first mini album would be. And now the adorable mv's for 'The Man Opposed' and 'Lover Cop' are out too! I'm not even going to bother doing kommentary, cause the whole thing would be nothing but 'Look how cute [insert members name here] is!' I will point out a few things from 'The Man Opposed' video though:
- The blue haired ones cuteness is off the charts. Pretty sure him and 'his girl' took an overdose of adorapills. (On second thought, pretty sure all the members did.)

So I realize I'm a little Dalmatian crazy, and all I want is for someone to please love them as much as I do! Listen, I don't like to label myself as a specific fan (like Beauty, Shawol, ELF, Belieber, etc.), but my love is honestly to the point where I have no problem being considered a Dalmate. Sigh, it feels like me loving Big Bang while no one else I know does all over again.

Silly Kahi, No One Would Leave You.

So Kahi, the leader of After School, finally released her solo album and mv for 'Come Back You Bad Person'. Listen, she's one of my major girl crushes, and I've been waiting for this solo since about August. Girl just took her sweet little time with this, but whatev it's fine. With Dalmatians comeback and Big Bang and Super Junior-M's comebacks on the horizon, she just added to the love that is already February.





So far I'm already loving her song, even though it feels like it belongs in a Kingdom Hearts commercial. And in the video she's as gorgeous as ever... even though the wannabe disco ball outfit makes her look like a shiny glamorous snake (especially with that move at 0:42). And I really should learn Korean so I can understand the song cause the lezzie ending has me a bit confused, even though I don't blame her cause if I was Kahi I'd be in love with myself too.

You're Killing Me Dalmatian! [Updated]

Dalmatian's new mini album comes out the 14th (aka Valentine's Day) and a teaser was released today for their two new singles 'That Man Disapproves' and 'Lover Cop'. Based off the, roughly, 15 secs of each song you get, they look and sound adorable and I'm already in love... Listen, I haven't been this excited for Valentine's Day since I was in elementary school (back when Valentine's was all about candy and who had the cutest Valentine's). Sigh, I'm not even this excited for Big Bang's comeback (but then again that could be because I already got the comeback from them that I wanted).




EPIPHANY! I kept wonder what it was about Dalmatian that hooked me from the first time I saw them, cause 'Round 1' is def not a song that I would normally love, but I absolutely do. And the two songs that Dalmatian are mercilessly teasing me with right now don't sound like something that I'd love with just a tease, but I do. I think I understand my attraction to them now: they just make me so happy. Literally feel like some one pumped me with happiness when I listen to them. It's ridiculous actually, and I don't know how much longer by body can handle such foreignly strong emotions.

Dalmatian keeps throwing out teasers, its ridiculous and I love it. The one thing about these that really surprises me is how randomly adorable Inati is. He was originally my least favorite, but he's now quickly moving up on my list.

Who Flaunts The Best?

Sooo happened to stumble across some videos of asianloves flaunting their bodies, and can I just say who ever put these videos together they're my new bffls. (btw, I swear these were completely random findings. I was just youtubeing half naked guys.) (Also, I swear all these bodies are fake.)






I know you're wondering my opinion on who flaunts the best, so here it is: I'll admit, I'm a total sucker for Rain's sexy otter dance (0:18), but whatever the heck Taeyang was doing on stage at 2:29 wins. Really Taeyang's whole withering on the ground performance... idevenk.

Kommentary: GD & TOP 'Baby Good Night'!

So I already loved GD & TOP's 'Baby Good Night,' but after watching the video I love it even more. As far as I'm concerned, they were both absolutely perfect. Conclusion, my life needs to be a music video.

I've really been slipping this month. GD & TOP released a video for 'Knock Out' like a month ago and I'm just now posting it (same goes for like the last 3 kommentarys I've posted). I've been obsessed with 'Knock Out', and seriously this video is standard YG ridiculousness.

Popsicle...?

DNA/The Boss (I'm a little confused on what their name is) debut their sub-unit, Popsicle, a couple weeks ago (I think). Popsicle consists of Jay and two of my favorite members Mika and Karam. Honestly, the songs nothing special but the boys are adorable.



Couple things:
1) What boy band sub-unit would go by the name Popsicle?
2) Mika could be a ghost.
3) Karam is definitely the love child of Taemin and JJ. 
4) Every time I hear the song I swear its a girl groups song. Doesn't the beginning sound extremely similar to 2ne1's 'I Don't Know'?

Oh DBSK minus 3, I love them more than I want to. Really just the song. I really do love this song. The video, eh. I'd rather watch a live performance.

Love Nicki soooo much. She was the musical guest on SNL, and she did a digital short with Lonely Island and it is pure love.

I've Never Been More In Need Of English Subs

Apparently Strong Hearts this week was just ablaze with ridiculous Jokwon dance offs... and none of its english subbed yet, but it really needs to be.
The first one is Park Jungmin from SS501 vs Jokwon... Poor Jungmin didn't stand a chance. I love the fact that he realized it too, and just backed off.




Now this one... words. Leetuek's older sister is apparently an actress and was a guest on Strong Hearts with him... Poor Leetuek. The whole clip you can tell he's embarrassed/nervous to have her on the show, and then you get to about 5:00 and begin to understand why.



Love the fact that she steadily gets more ridiculous as the clip goes on, but my absolute favorite thing is everyone elses reactions. So funny. Easily just became my favorite Asian siblings.
Seriously if anyone wants to subs this, or can find me some subs, I'd love them to death.

Kommentary: Double Dose Of MBLAQ!

MBLAQ released two music video (weeks ago) for their new singles 'Cry' and 'Stay'. Clearly these Asians know how to start the year off right.

Up first, 'Cry'. Now I waited a while to see these boys again, and was a little disappointed. I like the song, but not near enough Mir for my liking.



- 0:08 I'm protesting this beginning. Something about spoken openings (especially in english) to songs just bug me.
- 0:21 I'm going to say MBLAQ has mastered synchronized floor scuttling.
- 0:32 So jealous of Joon's make up (and everyone elses actually). Look at those eyes! I want those eyes.
- 0:36 You know Rain gave them this move. It screams 'Love Song'. Now if someone can find me an animated animal parody, that would make my life.
- 1:12 Sooo I'm giving them props on the ridiculous dramatics of the choreography matching the ridiculous dramatics of the song.
- 1:53 Oh how I've missed my Mir (and the way he scrunches up his little nose <3).
- 2:01 Oh wow, they just upped there dramatics. I'm impressed, cause they were already pretty dramatic.
- 2:10 Joon dances pretty underwater. So glad he majored in modern dance.
- 3:00 Dancing in the rain/water... Love it! Sigh, such a weakness. (Also, they just upped the dramatics again. Dang MBLAQ.)



MBLAQ's other new video, 'Stay' was a bit more satisfying. I rather like the song, but it sounds really familiar and can't figure out why... SHINee's Jojo maybe? Also, I like how this song balances out vocals and raps. It kind of reminds me of Big Bang in that area.

- 2: 43 This is def my favorite part of the song. I love the seamless why they go back and forth, even though I feel Thunder needs to leave more of the rapping to Mir. (also, I really love the faces Mir makes when he raps. So cute.)

Why Does February Seem So Far Away!

So next month brings the comebacks of Big Bang and Dalmatian... Guess who's overly excited for next month. Literally anything I see that mentions either two of these groups I'm all over, which is probably why I'm obsessed with the following video. Jisu from Dalmatian attempts IU's famous '3 octave note', and homeboys pretty amazing. (Also, I really love their reactions when he does it)

I could usually care less about Infinite, nothing about them has really attracted me before. However things may just change. Their new song kind of got me hooked (at least the chorus doesn't seem to want to get out of my head), and I'm loving the video too (even though I have no idea whats going on...).

Teen Top released a new album the other day, they've already had one comeback stage, and the mv for their new single 'Supa Luv' (which was produced by the same person who did Justin Biebers 'One less lonely girl', just a little trivia for ya) came out today... Listen, I don't understand why this boyband even exists. One member does 90% of the singing. It's like the male version of the pussycat dolls. The song's pretty catchy though.

Let Those Skinny Hoes Know!

So this new girl group, Piggy Dolls, just debuted. I'm actually kind of surprised by how awesome they are. Heres what makes them so awesome:
These girls are thicker than your average idol and they're clearly bragging about it. They boost about how amazing their vocals are, and how because they're thicker their voices reflect that. Basically they sound like fierce black woman. Listen, they did a cover of Destiny's Child's 'Emotion', and they killed it. Just killed it. Their vocals were impressive and I didn't cringe at their english, in fact it was pretty good. I'd say Destiny's Child should be proud of this Asian cover.



Their debut stage was rather impressive. I actually sat and watched the whole thing without losing some kind of interest at any point, which is an incredible feat for any group no matter how much I love them.

The remaining two members of DBSK just released their new single... I'm going to be honest, I love it. I've never wished to have all five of them back together so bad, but for being my least two favorite members I'm impressed. Idk what to think about the lyric translation though.
