Crazy 'Runaway' Ballerinas

Warning: This is a Kanye West video, so if you want to ignore this post, completely understandable.

Now then, I love Kanye's new song 'Runaway'. Actually his whole My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy album  really isn't that bad (besides all the songs being entirely too long). I haven't felt this way about Kanye since 8th grade. Apparently that year of soul searching paid off. A couple things about this video though, 1) This is just the excerpt from his 35 min. video film thing also titled 'Runaway', which I'm not sharing cause it's... really I don't even have words for it, but if you care to go to youtube and watch it your self be my guest. (Bonus, if you watch this video, you've already watched a third of the full length video!) 2) This blondie in the front is an absolute crazy, like I don't even know what she's doing half the time. 3) I feel so bad for the ballerinas at 6:10 with their arms up. Poor things can't handle it.

[Updated] And Heechul's Gone Gangsta

Alright, so Heechul featured in Korean rapper Defconn's new song... Listen, if I've ever not been able to take something serious it's this, and I'm kind of loving it. But that's to be expected since the song sounds absolutely ridiculous and I love anything ridiculous, so of course I'm loving this. Also, can Heechul just rap for now on?

Heechul literally just tweeted the music video for... whatever the songs called. Sigh, stalkstalking Asians on tweeter is a beautiful thing. It's literally the only thing that makes twitter worthwhile. Also, besides snippets of Heechul, the videos pointless.

JJJK Totally Thinks They're Kanye

So now theres a music video for 'Miss You'... Idk, but heres the video:



1) I like that the guys listening to 'Hot Times' and answers the phone without saying a word.
2) This whole falling in love with a creature that fell from the sky is giving me Kanye West flashbacks. Idk if any ones watched his little 30 min runaway music video thing (probably not), but thats basically the idea of it.
3) Every time I listen to this it feels like they're having a wail off. Every time.

Cutest. Collaboration. Ever.

Drama (from my guilty love Dalmatian) and my little cutie Yoseob made a seasonal song together called 'First Snow, First Kiss'. Listen, they're one of my favorite idol bffl's, just look how cute they are together! I got so excited when I read a couple days ago that they were releasing a Christmas song. And tell you what, they did not disappoint. 

Warning, this video is five minutes of cuteness overload. This song paired with a video of basically just their interactions together... one more minute and idk if I could handle it.

More Asian Award Shows Please!

Love allkpop. They live streamed a music award show this morning (Mnet's Asian Music Awards), and it was totally worth the 3 1/2 hours I wasted watching it. Even though it was probably the biggest joke of an award show I've ever watched (I swear 2pm, 2NE1, and Miss A were the only ones that won anything), there were some really good performances. But I'm only going to share two of them.
First one, 2pm. Loved every second of this creepy emo medley, and of course I can always watch a performance of 'I'll Be Back' (except the ending, it was a little iffy):





Second performance, Taeyang's stage with surprise guests. Guess who those guests were? G-Dragon and T.O.P.! And apparently Big Bang's special, cause they got a ridiculously long stage. But it's my Baby Dinosaur (with his ridiculous hair) & Friends, so it's fine.:





1) Idk what this hold 'em up thing they're doing is about but they looked like little kids playing some kind of cops and robbers game. It's fine though, cause they can do what ever they want.
2) I decided Taeyang and Dara are adorable together.
3) WHATS HAPPENING ON DECEMBER 15?! Honestly, I want it to be a full out Big Bang comeback but based on the fact it just says GD and TOP I'm going to say just those two are releasing a song sooooooooooo get excited for that!

[Update] OMG! No, December 15th is not a Big Bang comeback (for apparently that's scheduled to happen February 1st), however the 15th is a comeback. It's the date GD and TOP release two songs from their album thats set to release on December 24th! Apparently they did one together! And it gets released the 15th/24th! In case you didn't get all that! And Guess who just got ludicrously excited and has a count down started! 17 days! (Give or take. You know that half a day time difference with Korea makes it a little iffy for countdowns.)

Obsessing with SHINee

So SHINee's song 'Obsession' (from their Lucifer cd, and one of my favorites from said cd) got picked up as a song for the movie coming out The Warriors Way, and they made a little music video for it with like behind the scenes clips from the movie. Honestly, I could care less about the movie but the SHINee boys introduce the video in the beginning, and can I just say they are looking so good. I swear every time I see them I say this, but so good. Make no mistake, I'm strictly sharing this video for the fact that they look so good.


(Also, behind the scenes ruins movies. I don't want to know that they don't actually kill off extras and all that blood flinging is fake.)

Completely Pointless, But

1) I need someone to find out who this guy on the top right is, cause I'm claiming him strictly for his eyes. So really I'm just claiming his eyes. Also, I'm starting up a game of 'one of these things is not like the others'. Can you guess which one?

[Updated] Holy Hot Ballad Group Batman

SM Entertainment put together a ballad group, and cleverly named it S.M. The Ballad.... No. Idk what SM is thinking with this name. The members of S.M. The Ballad are Jay (from The TRAX), Jonghyun (from SHINee (ok doesn't he look different in the picture above? Like his features look softer, more effeminate or something)), some new singer kid named Jino (who I've already claimed), and Kyuhyun (of course they couldn't do this without a Super Junior member). Using the initials of the members I've renamed the group JJJK, or TripleJK.
Now that I've gotten their new name established, here's the deal: the album doesn't come out until the 25th, so SM is releasing one teaser everyday until then. So basically I'm updating this everyday with a new teaser until the actual album gets released then I'll add the full songs.



I'm a little confused with the rapping, but so far the songs sound like they want to be baby making songs but somewhere missed their mark. So basically JJJK already has me hooked. Also, I'm such a sucker for good wailing.

 So Kyuhyun and Jay's solo songs were stuck in one long teaser. They're getting away from the baby making wannabe music, and it actually sounds like these songs belong to a ballad group:


Also, Jay's is a little dramatic. Just a little. It's totally like listening to a song from a drama.

SHINee Just Can't Stop Saying 'Hello'

Idk what this was for, but SHINee performed 'Hello' with an orchestra accompaniment and I loved it. Also, idk where Minho was but honestly I like the song just as much (if not a slight bit more) without his rap.

(Side Note: Is it just me or does Jonghyun's facial features look softer these days? There's a picture I saw recently where I thought the same thing, it really didn't look like him (p.s., this picture will be posted at a later date so look out for it.))

So since my first video of BEAST's 'Beautiful' performance got deleted, here's another one. (Plus bonus videos!) Now, these will probably get deleted too, but oh well. I'm in love with them, this song, and their adorable performances right now.

Kommentary: F.CUZ 'Midnight Sun'

Idk if you guys remember F.CUZ, they debuted at the beginning of the year with 'Jiggy.' Now if you don't remember 'Jiggy,' lucky you. It's right up there with ZE:A's 'Mazeltov,' and if you don't remember that one mazel tov to you.
Anyways, the boys of F.CUZ released a teaser for the mv a couple days ago. Not gonna lie, it got my attention. And yes, before you even ask, that is indeed me in the teaser.

Before I say anything else, thank god these boys stepped up their game. They would've completely lost me if they came back with 'Jiggy, the sequel.' 
Now, on to kommentary:
1) I'm totally getting a SS501 vibe from this.
2) 0:08 If that was one of those dramatic runny mascara tears, you wouldn't even know this was a boy. (whom I've claimed by the way.)
3) 0:24 This scene was shot inside a genie's lamp. In case you were curious.
4) 0:25 I want every single one of those fabulous rings this boys wearing.
5) 1:39 Man, they picked some classy settings for this video.
6) 2:01/2 I think I want to claim the one singing here... Yea, I'm just gonna go ahead and claim him.
7) 2:17 Someone please tell me where I can get this boys outfit.
8) 2:36 This girl rockin the keytar thing, no it's not me, but she is my 3rd cousin twice removed.
9) 2:38... I all of a sudden feel like I'm watching a live version of Princess Tutu.
10) 2:43 This song honestly had me. Like I was highly enjoying it, until this moment. I hate when they just talk. Especially when I can't understand it. Rap the lines or something, don't just speak them.
11) 3:58 Just wanted to state I disapprove of the way they ended their dance. It was just a lame way to wrap up the choreography.
12) I'd be lying if I said I wasn't disappointed with the video after watching the teaser for it. I was expecting something a bit more explicit, like the teaser that you can't even watch on youtube unless you confirm you're 18+. What I got was SS501 without the soft descending thrusts. 
 


Extra Bonus, I guess: I'm so confused. I could not find 'Jiggy' on their official youtube account, however there was this mv. Now, I don't remember them ever promoting something after 'Jiggy.' I feel like they're trying to erase any signs that 'Jiggy' even existed and instead added this mv to make it look like this was their debut song. Nice try.

All in all, this song is highly more acceptable than 'Jiggy.'

Nigahiga Shall Be Mine

So Ryan Higa (along with Wong Fu Productions) made a little 40 min movie. It's called Agents of Secret Stuff and the official trailer was released today. According to the little description box thingy the video will be premiering online on Ryan's youtube channel the 24th (or if embedding is enabled it will probably be blogged about so you can just watch it here).... Listen, I'm so excited to watch 40 mins. straight of Ryan Higa. With every video my love for him grows, and after watching this movie thing I'll probably book a ticket to Vegas/Cali/Hawaii and hunt him down. (what I will do once I have him in my possession has yet to be decided.)

BEAST is the definition of love. And the fact there's a storyline made waiting for this video worth it.



1) So I feel a little sorry for Hyunseung at the beginning of this video, cause after his little dance thing he has no further parts in the storyline.

Curse You JYJ

Because 1) not only are they distracting me from writing a 10 page paper, but 2) they totally got me. Despite the fact they're my three favorite from DBSK, I really didn't want to give into this whole trio thing they've got going. And yet... 'Ayyy Girl' wasn't enough to recapture my love, but listened to the whole 'The Beginning' album and I'm caught. Honestly, I like all the songs a lot more than majority of DBSK songs. It could be because it's all in English, or it could be because half the songs give me 90's flashbacks. (All my money's on the latter.) Sigh. Idk why I try to fight anything involving Asianloves. I know my will powers not strong enough.
And here's the songs I care about from 'The Beginning,' sooooooo basically here's the whole album:








And breakdown of why I love each song:
1) Every time I listen to 'Ayyy Girl' I get so confused how, out of all people, they hooked up with Kanye. I'm also confused how this song, out of the whole album, became their single. And yet, despite Kanye and the ridiculousness that is this song, it's grown on me. It was bound to happen. (Still think a Korean version of this song would be so much better.)
2) Love 'Empty'. That is all.
3) 'Be My Girl' sounds like a 90's boyband's song, maybe. But I can't think which one... WAIT! Maybe it was an Usher song...? Now that I'm thinking Usher, it feels right.
4) 'Still In Love' is JJ's solo song, which many youtubers are speculating it was written for Uknow. My favorite comment regarding this scandal: "Remember we don't KNOW if they didn't go out. Most of the KPop stars are probably bi at least, it's hard to stay straight when your working with hot guys every single day of your life. There's much more facts pointing towards YunJae then there is against it, for sure." Fact.
5) Listening to 'I Can Soar'  literally makes me feel like I'm listening to a Disney soundtrack.
6) Fact: I love that when I listen to 'I Love You' it feels like I'm listening to 90's rap.
7) Love 'Be The One'. It reminds me of a 98 degrees song.

Kommentary: Supernova 'Shining Star'.......

I've never really been that into Supernova, but after seeing this picture:

I knew I had to give their new music video a shot.
Listen, after watching the music video for their newest Japanese single I'm honestly flabbergasted. Whatever I expected from a Korean boy band is not at all what I just witnessed. And I completely understand why they seem to be doing better in the Japanese music industry over the Korean music industry. I honestly... I just... I don't even know.

Idk if this video even needs real kommentary, but here we go:
1) 0:15 ... A quote from Hairspray if I may, "We don't want our dancers thrusting around like savages!"
2) 0:18 "Baby girl, booty booty." Correct me if I'm wrong, but is that what they said? As if the thrusting wasn't already too much for me.
3) 0:51 Hold up, isn't that 2pm's 'Without You' dance?
4) 1:24 I feel like this dance is from something too...
5) 1:29 And this is just an upgraded version of the Raman dance from the grocery store scene in 'You're Beautiful'.
6) 1:38 Why do "rappers" always do weird things with their mouths?
7) 1:44 Who ever did their choreography, I laugh every single time at this part. I just.... Idevenk.
8) 2:36-2:52 They finally had me here, until the end.
9) 3:00 O_O this boys eyelashes... You know when writers describe a sleeping person and to make them seem more angelic they describe how their eyelashes rested on their cheeks? I never thought it was possible, until now. This child is an angel.
10) 3:10 Literally every time I've seen this boy throughout the video I think how much he looks like Rain here.
11) 3:13 Ugh, STOP THIS VULGAR THRUSTING ALREADY.

Kommentary Flash Back!

After I posted the thing on KRY, I got a Super Junior love attack and all I wanted to do was listen to the baby making version of 'Sorry Sorry'. So I did. And I found my old kommentary on it, idk how I haven't been sent to Asian Obsessed Anonymous. 


OLD KOMMENTARY!!
1) 0:20- For some reason I remember Siwon being better looking without a shirt, not that I'm complaining.
2) 0:21- wth is refresh toner?
3) 0:28- Can Heechul really read that?
4) 0:37- The smoke in the background adds a nice dramatic effect.

I swear he quit super junior like a year ago and the company's just too afraid to tell the fans because these Asians are crazy.

The OST Power of KRY

Apparently Super Junior, more specifically KRY, members are all the rage for OST's. Wookie just released a song for some drama I'm not even aware of, but I'm loving the song. And a while ago Kyuhyun sang a song for 'King of Baking' and Yesung sang one for... some other drama that had something to do with Cinderella in the title.  Whatever, the drama it's self is not important (even though I did love King of Baking and didn't realize it was Kyuhyun singing until I was almost done with the drama), whats important is KRY and their wonderfulness. Take a listen and fall in love:





Bonus! Super Junior this time did an OST for a special called 'Haru'. I'll admit, I'm loving this one. (And it does help that I get to see snippets of Big Bang and Kim Bum in the mv thing.)

And theres a ballad version!


Extra Special Super Bonus! While we're on the subject, SHINee also did an OST for 'Haru' thats apparently the most popular song from the drama. Personally, it makes me laugh, but there's a lot of Kim Bum so it's fine.

Daesung Say What!?

Alright, Daesung from Big Bang is starring in a new drama called "What's Up." From what I can tell, it's basically Fame Asian drama style.... Despite the fact I'm pretty confused about this drama, with a teaser pic like the one above of Daesung looking so *fill in the blank with your own creative descriptive adjective here*, I'll totally watch it. Even though  I feel the picture has absolutely nothing to do with the drama. And if that's the case these Koreans have perfected the art of advertising to the fangirls desires. (My moneys on the latter.)

Oh Beautiful BEAST

So apparently BEAST is making a comeback... Listen, I wasn't even aware they left. I was under the impression in order to have a comeback you have to be gone for a little while, and idk if it's even been a week since they ended 'Soom' promotions. Also, normally once promotions for one song ends they just choose another song from the same mini-album to promote for a couple weeks. No. Apparently that's not how BEAST rolls. Instead, BEAST is promoting a whole new mini-album. Ridiculous. If they were going to do that idk why they didn't just wait a while and put out a full album. Why do they love their mini-albums so much? This is what I don't understand about the Asian music industry.
But I digress. BEAST's new mini-album 'Lights Go On Again' just released today, and listening to it, it's... typical BEAST. Even though they're really stepping up their English (they're phrasing is actually starting to make sense), it still makes me shake my head. Here's some of the tracks, actually here's the whole mini-album:






So 'Beautiful' is the title track (which means look forward to a kommentary when the mv's released!) and I'm a little torn. 1) The beginning cracks me up every time because I forget Yoseob surprise attacks you. There's nothing like being caught off guard by 'BEAUTIFUL MA GURL!' 2) Is it me, or does it have a similar feel as Super Junior's 'No Other,' whhhiiiiiccchhh we're not even going there. I do at least like it better than 'No Other'.
Also, 'Lightless' makes me really happy for some reason (probably the ridiculousness that is them singing 'lalalalalightless', and the fact they end a dramatic part by spelling out less at 3:32). I'm prepared to say it's my favorite song on this particular mini-album.

LXD: The Most Dramatic Dance Series Ever

So I was on hulu catching up on season 3 of Big Time Rush (I know, it's crazy there's 3 seasons, who knew) when I decided I needed to take a little break from BTR and watch something else on hulu. I didn't know what to watch until I remembered some series thing just for hulu that Harry Shum Jr (aka Mike Chang from Glee) was promoting a while back. Even though it was my favorite other Asian telling me to watch it, I never bothered to. How stupid I was. I love basically anything overly dramatic, intense, and involving dance and/or Asians. LXD is literally all those loves in one. And just to show how awesome it is, here's the first few episodes:

Kommentary: 2NE1 'It Hurts'

I know some people out there aren't big fans of 2ne1, but their new songs pretty good and everything about this kind of has a different feel then their other stuff (this is basically me telling Taylor to give this one a chance).

I feel like I can never do proper kommentary for 2ne1 videos.
